Discovery
Discovery, by definition, is the action of discovering; exposure to view; laying open; showing; as, the discovery of a plot. We use discovery as the first and most important step in getting to know a new client and as a beginning for every new project. To get to know you we meet with you to review and analyze all existing communication efforts, including all internal and external media. We also learn about your mission, philosophy, and other information about how your business or organization functions to gain an understanding of your passions and how you differentiate yourselves from your competitors. We also research your target audience to develop a picture of who they are and how they live their daily lives so we can make predictions about them and their interests. When we begin a new project we use our initial discovery information of you and your audience and take it a step further by gathering specific details about your goals for the project and exactly who within your audience you wish to target. At this point we research colors and textures, writing styles and tones, everything that might help appeal to the audience. Every project finally comes together as a specifically tailored piece that is generated from all the data we have gathered along the way. So, by definition, discovery is the action of getting to know you and your audience inside and out in order to produce the most effective communications media possible.
